Nexus
March 3-6, 2024, NCMA will be in Jacksonville, FL to convene the entire acquisition team to support our mission to advance contract management’s nexus with related acquisition communities. NCMA is the neutral forum for real conversations across functions and across government and industry.
Nexus is a carefully curated event to create an environment where multi-functional buyer and seller teams train side by side on our shared and pressing challenges for solutions for supply chain risk, requirements planning, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, intellectual property, small business, sustainability, and more.
Why Nexus? Why now? Federal procurement faces an urgency to overcome internal roadblocks preventing us from working toward a shared purpose. None of these challenges are solved in a vacuum by one functional area. They require collaboration and shared perspectives across the buyer and seller teams, including program management, CORs, logistics, legal, IT, finance, human resources, and contract management. We all have a shared interest in the success of federal acquisitions including our ability to innovate, work with agility and speed to define and deliver cutting edge solutions.
What to expect: At Nexus, you will collaborate outside your functional area. You will think strategically about the joint decision making required to define objectives and action plans. Expect to have the right discussions and collaboration, with the right people at the table. Sessions will center around defining a shared understanding of the problem the team is trying to solve though level-setting fundamentals, moving toward immersive case studies, hackathons, and real-world problem solving as the event progresses. Attendees will leave with meaningful debriefings and deployable solutions.
Who should attend? Nexus is for all professionals who support federal procurement including all members of buyer and seller acquisitions teams: Program Managers, Requirements Owners, Business Advisors, CORs and COTRs, Contract Managers, Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Pricing, Finance and Logistics.
