Leveraging Delinea Server PAM for Smart Card Integration with Linux
This event qualifies for 1 CPEs
Smart cards provide an enhanced level of security for Linux computers when users log on to Active Directory domains. If you use a smart card to log on, authentication requires a valid and trusted root certificate or intermediate root certificate that can be validated by a known and trusted certification authority (CA). Because smart cards rely on a public-private key infrastructure (PKI) to sign and encrypt certificates and validate that the certificates were issued by a trusted certification authority and have not expired or been revoked, authentication using a smart card is more secure than a username and password.
Join this webinar for a technical presentation that will focus on integrating Linux systems with Active Directory and utilizing this integration capability to seamlessly extend your existing smart card infrastructure to Linux systems for remote and console access.
During this webinar, attendees will learn:
- How to incorporate Linux systems into their existing smart card infrastructure
- How Delinea Server PAM can be used for this integration
- How your agency can streamline their security, compliance, and operation postures
