NOVA VETNET: Meaningful Veteran Employment

How can we engage Regional business leaders and businesses in our military-thriving community? NOVA VetNet is a strong, vibrant military and Veteran-connected network inclusive to all; large corporation, small companies, nonprofits (including SDVOSB and VOSBs) are all invited to participate in our upcoming series of quarterly NOVA VetNet events!

Our November Meeting will focus on finding "Meaningful Veteran Employment." This discussion will go beyond "military friendly" and "military ready" to create a corporate culture that is "military thriving." We will discuss underemployment, retention strategies, and the continual challenges that military spouses face in the workplace. We will also explore how companies are lowering recruiting and retention costs and increasing revenue with the military and Veteran Consumer that accounts for $2.1 Trillion in our economy each year.
