As a contributor to FOX News, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Caller news site and a senior fellow at the Cato Institute, Tucker Carlson deconstructs the day's events with wry skepticism, a unique perspective and provocative interviews. Carlson has hosted a number of different nightly news programs on various networks over the past 10 years, including CNN's Crossfire, and several shows on MSNBC and PBS. One of the media's wittiest and most entertaining commentators, Carlson brings his informed viewpoint to discuss politics in America including his take on the divided Congress, the administration of Barack Obama and the 2012 elections. Author of Politicians, Partisans, and Parasites and a regular contributor to Esquire, Carlson's work has appeared in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, New York magazine, Reader's Digest, Forbes and GQ. He was a finalist for a 2004 National Magazine Award for an Esquire article chronicling his trip to Africa with the Rev. Al Sharpton. Stan Soloway President & CEO Proffesional Services Council Stan Z. Soloway is president and CEO of the Professional Services Council, the principal national trade association of the government professional and technical services industry. Soloway assumed the presidency in January 2001. PSC has a membership of nearly 350 companies of all sizes, performing services of all kinds for virtually every agency of the government. In addition to serving as president of PSC, Soloway was confirmed by the Senate in June 2007 as a member of the bi-partisan Board of Directors of the Corporation for National and Community Service, the federal agency that oversees national programs including Americorps and VISTA and serves as a major funding source for scores of community service programs across the nation. He writes a monthly column in Washington Technology magazine and is a regular contributor to the Washington Business Journal. He has also been a contributing author for books published by Harvard Law School, the University of Pennsylvania, and the IBM Center for the Business of Government. He was a member of the congressionally mandated, national panel on the future of government outsourcing chaired by the Comptroller General of the U.S., is a principal of the Partnership for Public Service, and a member of the Executive Advisory Board of the National Contract Management Association. He received the prestigious Federal 100 Award in 2005. Prior to joining PSC, Soloway served as the deputy undersecretary of Defense (acquisition reform) and concurrently as director of Secretary of Defense William Cohen’s Defense Reform Initiative. In recognition of his leadership at DoD, Soloway was awarded both the Secretary of Defense Medal for Outstanding Public Service and the Secretary of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service. Before his appointment to DoD, Soloway was a public policy and public affairs consultant for more than 20 years and a highly regarded expert on acquisition, privatization, and outsourcing issues. He earned a degree in political science from Denison University. Kevin Plexico Vice President, Federal Information Solutions Kevin Plexico is Vice President of Federal Information Solutions at Deltek where he manages the delivery of Deltek's industry leading market federal research and information products providing essential information and insights to over 2,800 clients. Mr. Plexico has responsibility for leading the industry's largest team of analysts focused on the government contracting industry. Mr. Plexico came to Deltek from its acquisition of INPUT in 2010. At INPUT, Mr. Plexico played an instrumental role in helping to grow the company from 15 employees to 160 employees. Mr. Plexico provides thought leadership and expert opinion to industry executives and is a recognized expert on the public sector market. Mr. Plexico earned an MBA in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland and a B.B.A. in Economics from James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Virginia.
