Recordkeeping Under the ITAR Webinar

This event qualifies for NCBFAA NEI MES/CES 1.5

In today's globalized business landscape, adherence to export compliance is paramount, and meticulous recordkeeping plays a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance. Join former regulators Candace Goforth and Tony Dearth as they review the recordkeeping requirements of the ITAR and provide benchmarking information and tips on establishing a robust recordkeeping infrastructure for U.S. and non-U.S. entities of any size.

The program will cover recordkeeping requirements related to:

  • Non-transactional records such as CJs, AOs, VDs, and export compliance manuals
  • Permanent and temporary exports of hardware
  • Intangible exports such as electronic media and defense services
  • Authorization-specific recordkeeping for agreements and exemptions
  • Proviso compliance
  • Technology control plan requirements and records
  • Working with your organization and third parties to obtain records
  • Maintaining a “data dictionary” or “records roadmap”
  • Best practices and challenges

This session is ideal for anyone involved in developing or maintaining a trade compliance program, as well as functions responsible for creating or obtaining required records.

The webinar will include a time for Q&A with attendees.
