Azure Red Hat OpenShift Workshop with Red Hat and Microsoft

Join Red Hat and Microsoft for a hands-on virtual workshop with Azure Red Hat® OpenShift®. During the virtual workshop, Red Hat Cloud Services experts will guide you through deploying a modern application platform on ARO and Azure.

Who should attend:

This 2-hour, virtual workshop is ideal for Platform Engineers, DevOps Engineers, Cloud Operations, Architects, and Developers who need a flexible and proven platform to build, deploy and scale applications.

What to expect:

During the workshop, attendees will learn how to deploy a modern application platform by leveraging Azure Red Hat OpenShift, and other Azure cloud services. Through a series of hands-on modules and instructor led presentations, attendees will:

• Perform Day 2 operations tasks such as configuring node and cluster scaling policies, configuring managed upgrades, and using labels for deterministic app placement on nodes
• Deploy an application that uses Azure Managed Database.
• Make an application on OpenShift scalable and resistant to node failures and upgrades
• Integrate ARO with Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure Files, and more.

Attendees should have fundamental knowledge of Azure concepts, familiarity with the Linux CLI, fundamental experience with kubernetes and container technologies.
