Small and Disadvantaged Business Seminar and Multi Agency MatchMaker

"The Federal Government just started a new fiscal year. Last year over $93.3 Billion was awarded to small businesses. Although small business contracting dollars increased 10% from last year, small businesses snagged about 21% of the federal government's over $590 Billion (2008) expenditures. That's not enough. The federal government's small business goal is 23%. This year Karen Mills, the new chief of the SBA, believes there's room for improvement and is insisting federal agencies meet their small business commitments." * * Government Contracting News & Workshop
