Private-Public Roundtable Discussion of the

National Strategy for Global Supply Chain Security: Implementation Findings and Recommendations Report”

The rescheduled Industry Leaders meeting of the “National Strategy for Global Supply Chain Security: Implementation Findings and Recommendations Report” and the SECRET-level ODNI briefing on the Global Supply Chain Threat Assessment will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at the DHS Nebraska Avenue Complex. 

 

UNCLASSIFIED INDUSTRY LEADER’S MEETING (1:00 – 4:00 PM)

A discussion forum will be held between the Cross-Sector Supply Chain Working Group and representatives from relevant US Government departments and agencies regarding the Findings and Recommendations Report submitted in response to the President’s National Strategy for Global Supply Chain Security.

*ACTION ITEM:  Please fill out the NAC Visit Request Form (sent via e-mail) and return it to amy.sanborn@dhs.gov by COB Thursday, 11/15/12.  (Note:  If you previously submitted a WAVE form for the 10/29 meeting, you do NOT need to fill out a NAC Visit Request Form).

For those participating via teleconference: If you have RSVP’d to participate remotely, please follow the teleconference information provided via e-mail.

Unfortunately, registered lobbyists are not able to participate in the Industry Leaders meeting.

 

CLASSIFIED (SECRET) ODNI BRIEFING (11:30 AM – 12:30 PM)

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence will provide a SECRET-level briefing on the updated version of their Global Supply Chain Threat Assessment.

DIRECTIONS TO THE NEBRASKA AVENUE COMPLEX (see “NAC Map with Instructions” sent via e-mail)

The Nebraska Avenue Complex is located at 3801 Nebraska Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20528.  Parking can be challenging, so please allow sufficient time.  Taking a taxi is highly encouraged.

Street Parking:  Limited street parking is available in the area between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.  Please follow posted signs.  

NAC Parking Lot:  (Note:  There is limited parking in the lot.  The below steps align with the numbered steps on the “NAC Map with Instructions” document.)

  1. Enter off of Massachusetts Avenue.  At the guard shack, everyone in the car must show identification.  Ask to be directed to the Temporary Parking Pass Office.
  2. Proceed to the Temporary Parking Pass Office to fill out a temporary parking pass.  (Note:  A NAC point of contact with phone number must be listed on the pass.  Please use Bradley Garner, 202-282-9113.)
  3. Park in the West Parking Lot, displaying your temporary parking pass.
  4. Walk up the stairs toward the Visitor’s Center.
  5. Check in at the Visitor’s Center. 
  6. Upon check in, you will be escorted to the NAC 43 entrance.
  7. From the NAC 43 entrance, you will be escorted to Conference Room NAC 1 01-044 (to the left and right at the flags).  Both the ODNI briefing and the Industry Leaders meeting will be held in this room. 

Metro:  The nearest Metro stop is Tenleytown, which is about a half mile walk to the NAC. 

If you are not parking in the NAC parking lot, please only follow steps 5-7 above.  If you get turned around, feel free to contact Bradley Garner (202-282-9113).
