Speaker and Presenter Information

Mr. Robert M. Lightfoot Jr. is the Associate Administrator for NASA, the agency's highest-ranking civil servant position. He previously served as director of NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama - one of NASA's largest field installations, which plays a critical role in NASA’s space operations, exploration and science missions with nearly 6,000 civil service and contractor employees and an annual budget of approximately $2.5 billion. Mr. Lightfoot has received numerous awards during his NASA career, to include a NASA Outstanding Leadership medal; the Presidential Rank Award for Meritorious Executives; as well as the Presidential Rank Award for Distinguished Executives - the highest honors attainable for federal government work.
