Camp HM Smith

We are excited to announce that in 2013 the traditional five show series will now include the newly activated NSA Regional Operations Center in Wahiawa. The expansion of the Hawaii Series to six shows is a testament to the past performance of each technology expo, and to their relevance to DoD personnel throughout the island.

Over the last twenty years the events on Oahu have become an excellent way for personnel at these facilities to evaluate the latest IT products and services available from some of today’s leading government and industry partners. There is no cost to attend the events for interested personnel and they do not even have to go off base to stop by the expos. All six events are held on-site at each specific location, and In a time when all service branches are looking for creative practices to reduce travel costs, we think the expos offer an innovative way to keep personnel aware of the latest technology trends, and allow hands on demonstrations of these new technologies, with no cost to the government. For exhibitors, you have the unique opportunity to network with personnel from the Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines, NSA and a number of other agencies and commands in the six day expo period.

After twenty years we have learned how to work with our hosts to promote the events to the right technology groups and personnel at each location. Last year we received excellent to outstanding grades on our Exhibitor Surveys for all five of our events in Hawaii in the areas of attendance, quality of attendees, show support and show directions/logistics. We have an experienced on-site staff that has a combined 33 years of experience in running the Hawaii Expo Series.

Our Pacific presence has also expanded to include shows in May 2013 with AFCEA at Joint Base Elmendorf – Richardson (JBER) and Eielson AFB, Alaska. Both events are exclusive to FBC for the last five years and are extremely well attended. We hope that you join us for the Hawaii and Alaska Technology Expo Series, and we look forward to building on the nineteen years we have been hard at work to grow your business.

2013 will mark the 20th Anniversary for FBC’s Annual Hawaii Information Technology (IT) Expo Series. Since 1993 FBC has been conducting its annual IT expo series on Oahu at Fort Shafter, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam – JBPHH (formerly Pearl Harbor and Hickam AFB), Schofield Barracks and Camp HM Smith - HQ USPACOM. In that time, we have conducted close to 100 expositions on the island and have grown to become a yearly fixture at these locations.

Camp Smith is the headquarters of Marine Forces Pacific (MARFORPAC), as well as the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM) and Special Operations Command Pacific. There are approximately 1,500 marines and support staff located at headquarters MARFORPAC and 500 joint personnel located at headquarters USPACOM.
