Cyber Security Conference at John Hopkins APL



The Cyber Security Conference, held in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Alliance, will be a one-day conference and exposition on October 6, 2009 at the John Hopkins-APL Kossiakoff Conference and Education Center. This one day conference will bring together Government, Industry and Academia and the roles each play in the Cyber Security World. The agenda will address the "Shared Responsibility" of Cyber Security with four main themes: Cyber Workforce Modernization, Cyber Situational Awareness, Public/Private Roles and Strategic Alliances, Critical Infrastructure Protection. Presenters and the attendees will be comprised of industry, academia, and senior cyber security officials from many federal agencies including: DHS, NSA, ODNI, DISA, NIST, SSA, TSA and DOJ. The exposition will take place adjacent to the auditorium and time has been built into the agenda for attendees to visit the expo. Exhibitors are encouraged to attend the sessions. In addition, the conference will conclude with a social networking opportunity in the exhibit area.
