GWAC Small Business Summit
The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Government-wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) are becoming increasingly vital to agencies by enabling them to leverage GSA’s buying power, achieve multi-agency objectives, and acquire acquisition and contract management functions at competitive rates.
As the number of companies seeking schedule contracts has roughly doubled over the last several years, with over 80 percent being small businesses, knowing how to effectively leverage GSA GWACs is critical for companies to meet agency objectives and grow their business. These contracts are rapidly evolving and new vehicles are on the horizon. For example, GSA recently announced the One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS), a new professional services multiple-award contract designed to address complex requirements such as responding to national emergencies like Hurricane Sandy. Since GSA vehicles have limited scope and life cycles, a company’s success will depend on its ability to use the right GWACs to support their customers’ needs.
