Mobile Device Strategies: Free Seminar

In December 2012, the U.S. Office of Management and Budget issued a report on the Government Use of Mobile Technology. Among the primary barriers to faster and broader implementation across agencies cited is the limited selection of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions available to “develop and enforce the security and access policies required to implement mobile capabilities that fit their mission needs.” As a consequence, the Federal CIO Council has prioritized for 2013 the identification of MDM tools and processes that “support enterprise-level configuration management and controls” required by Federal agencies. Plan to attend this timely program to understand the current MDM options for government enterprises, how they are evolving to enable more trusted, simplified, and practical device management, and what is expected to become available in the near-term.
