Federal Web 2.0 -- Enterprise Adoption and 2010 Outlook

How are federal programs and initiatives being impacted by Web 2.0? How are agencies factoring these into strategic planning?

Please join AFCEA Bethesda on January 21 for a timely discussion on Web 2.0 best practices and challenges of enterprise wide implementation. Learn what business problems agencies are trying to overcome with these new methods of engaging citizens and the federal workforce.

While there are a number of organizational and cultural barriers, no one can ignore the importance of security as well as the challenges of governance and data storage in the implementation of Web 2.0 tools. Speakers will discuss the policies and infrastructure required in 2010 to support the use of Web 2.0 in the federal government, including meeting the Office of Management and Budget’s recent Open Government Directive.
