Innovation and Adaptation for the Future Force: A Professional Forum with US Army TRADOC

The AUSA Virginia Colonial Chapter hosts its 31^st Annual Professional Forum with US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) on 22-23 May, 2013 at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. This year’s theme is Innovation and Adaptation for the Future Force.  Our forum provides members and industry partners opportunity to interact with TRADOC leaders to better understand plans for innovation, concepts, required capabilities, and modernization. 

22 May begins with a presentation from TRADOC DCG, LTG Dave Halverson,  followed by presentations from the TRADOC G2 and the Director of the Training Brain Operations Center (TBOC), a TBOC tour, and Innovation Solution Breakout Teams.  Day one wraps up with keynote speaker General Robert Cone, Commanding General TRADOC.

23 May begins with LTG Keith Walker, Director of the Army Capabilities Integration Center (ARCIC), followed by a panel on how industry conducts pursuit and capture activities and a panel on what investments are truly important to the Army.  After a lunch presentation, we have planned breakout sessions focusing on Training/Simulation, Material, and Network/Cyber requirements. The evening program begins with a reception at 6:30 P.M. followed by dinner and awards program, where LTG (Ret) Mark Curran will receive the chapter's General Douglas MacArthur Meritorious Service Award. 

On 24 May, the chapter hosts its 5^th Annual Fred Nunes Memorial Golf Tournament.
