Overview of the Workshop:

The Government acquisition process is very complex and a successful procurement depends on excellent planning, proper attention to the fundamentals, and avoidance of certain pitfalls. This workshop addresses the entire acquisition life from initial strategic planning to the monitoring of contracts after award, and presents a real world view of the important issues that face those involved in conducting Government acquisitions. This two-day workshop will present practical information for federal executives, program managers and staff, and contracting office personnel that are responsible for the planning and implementation of acquisition programs. Government Acquisition is considered a governmental “Mission Essential” function.
