Course Description

Video is often the best way to communicate ideas or offer instruction. And it is increasingly being used by agencies to engage with citizens online. As the web moves to video, it is critical that everyone learn to work in this remarkably powerful medium.

Learn to shoot, script, track, edit, produce and upload your video in this INTENSE two–day course with Michael Rosenblum, a pioneer in video journalism. You'll complete a video project from beginning to end and have extensive critique and feedback sessions throughout the course. We'll also spend a great deal of time on the impact of the digital revolution, which explores how to best apply your newly learned skills.

Why You Should Attend

There is no denying video is the most powerful medium of communication we've ever invented. The statistics tell the story: 71% of US internet users view video online, an average US viewer spends nearly 4 hours watching video online each month, and if YouTube was a country, it would be the #3 most–populated nation in the world. Video is a powerful way we communicate ideas and information to one another and the vast majority of us are video illiterate. By completing this intense two–day course, you'll have completed professional video training and learned the hands–on techniques you need to make compelling web–based videos.
