When you join a company, your perception of them is equally as important as their perception of you. The reality is you can't work where you don't feel comfortable, you can't thrive where you don't feel at home, and you can't grow where you don't feel welcome. You want to be somewhere that you are appreciated and not just tolerated. Therefore it is extremely important that you understand the culture of the company and ensure that you will fit in or whether you even want to fit in.
