Health Information Forum: Cancer Knowledge, Awareness, and Statistics
ICF International has invited expert panelists from the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Cancer Institute (NCI) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)/National Center for Health Statistics to discuss cancer-related knowledge, awareness, and statistics. The discussion will be moderated by ICF's Dr. Lewis Berman, and the panelists will provide key insights on the background and future direction of the following programs:
- National Vital Statistics System (NVSS). Learn how NVSS can be used for tracking changes in cancer-related deaths.
- NCI Health Information National Trends Survey (HINTS). Discover how HINTS contributes to information on the changing patterns in information opportunities in health, changing communications practices, cancer information access and usage, perception of cancer risks, and new theories in health communications.
A live Q&A session will follow the discussion. Don't miss this opportunity to strengthen your knowledge of the NVSS and HINTS programs.
