2013 Federal Cloud Computing Summit



The 2013 Federal Cloud Computing Summit and Technology Showcase will examine how agencies have implemented Cloud solutions within their organizations. It will also look at the Cloud broker model and examine the future of Cloud solutions within the government.

The following topics will be addressed during the day:

  • Best practices in the acquisition of commodity IT
  • Examination of recently-completed Federal Cloud projects
  • Cloud success stories and a look at what’s next for FedRAMP
  • Intersection of Cloud and other new technologies & ideas

Included in the event is a Cloud Technology Showcase featuring the latest in cutting-edge technology from leading cloud innovators. 

The host organization for the event is the Advanced Mobility Academic Research Center (AMARC). The AMARC mission is to optimize the delivery of government services through the utilization of mobile communications technology, expand academic research capabilities within government organizations, and promote STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) training at academic institutions.
