Juli Baker is the CTO/CIO for Covered California which was created to implement the new federal healthcare law. Dr. Baker is responsible for the overall design, development and execution of all  information technology systems, portals, exchange enrollment systems and enterprise-wide analytics. This includes the mission critical, $360 million California Healthcare Eligibility, Enrollment & Retention System (CalHEERS), expected to be used by some 5 million Californians for these purposes over the next several years. Some of the issues we'll be covering include:

• How interact with State healthcare agencies and data?
• How interact with federal agencies and data?     
• Project oversight and management model

• Can the aggressive deadlines be met?
