Quantum Speaker Series: Global Competition for Leadership in Quantum Tech

Quantum is viewed as a strategic technology by many countries around the world that see it as a key to a prosperous future. Although some people think the competition is only between the U.S. and China, many other countries, particularly those in Europe, are also vying to become the leader. This presentation will provide an overview of some of the international collaborations, sovereign investments, and technical initiatives that are underway outside the U.S. as each country tries to strengthen its position in quantum tech and become a dominant factor within the global quantum ecosystem.
