GNSI Tampa Summit 6: Cracks in the Lamp: Freeing the Nuclear Genie
GNSI Tampa Summit 6 will bring together industry experts, scholars, government representatives, and students to answer that question and explore the evolving role of nuclear technology in modern security, warfare, and geopolitics. Across multiple sessions, participants examine pressing issues including deterrence, battlefield applications, technological innovation, and the challenges posed by rogue nuclear states.
The conference will feature keynote addresses from three of the most consequential leaders in U.S. national security: retired Air Force General John Hyten, former Vice Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff, former commander, USSTRATCOM; retired Marine Corps General Frank McKenzie, former commander, USCENTCOM, former Director, Joint Staff; Franklin Miller, former Special Assistant to the President, former Assistant Secretary of Defense.
Collectively, these leaders have shaped U.S. nuclear strategy, deterrence policy, and crisis management at the highest levels of government. Their experience spans operational command, strategic forces, arms control, and presidential decision-making. Together, they bring rare insight into how nuclear risks are evolving—and what it will take to manage deterrence, escalation, and stability in an increasingly fractured global security environment.
As nuclear risks evolve, so must our understanding. This conference will challenge conventional thinking and inspire collaborative solutions for a safer world.
