Google AI for Careers: The AI Advisor That Knows Your Course Catalog
This event qualifies for:
Most AI career tools give students generic advice. They do not know which courses your institution offers, when your career fair closes or what a specific student has already done. Google AI for Careers does. Built by Google Public Sector's Rapid Innovation Team and delivered by ClearObject, a Google Cloud Premier Partner, it links a student's skills and interests, your course catalog and campus calendar and the O*NET occupational taxonomy into a single reasoning layer that guides the student from exploring careers to building a plan, preparing and applying.
Join Google Public Sector, ClearObject and Carahsoft, along with the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC), as we follow one undecided student through the live product from start to finish. We’ll also explore how CCAC is putting the platform in front of its Mechatronics students this fall. Google AI for Careers is a new guidance layer, not a replacement for your career services management system or job network, and we’ll be direct about where it fits alongside the tools you already use. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about institutional data, security review and procurement.
During this webinar, attendees will see:
- How a living profile is built from a student’s interests, experience and coursework and how each later interaction, from advisor chat to career exploration to interview practice, sharpens it
- How career exploration reasons over the O*NET taxonomy and beyond it, with generated pathways mapped to your actual degree programs, certifications and campus deadlines rather than a generic checklist
- How AI mock interviews provide graded, candid feedback along with resume and cover letter support tied to a target role and how the platform fits alongside the job board and career services system you already use
- What a real deployment looks like, including how CCAC stands up a branded instance for its Mechatronics program with no SIS or LMS integration and what students, staff and leadership see
