NASA SEWP Training & Industry Day

NASA SEWP is hosting a FREE “SEWP Training and Industry Day” training event on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Waikiki Marriott Resort & Spa.

Sessions and event details are outlined below:

NASA SEWP TRAINING & INDUSTRY DAY:

When: Monday, November 18^th (8:00am - 3:00pm)
Cost: FREE!

Two tracks will be offered in the morning: One for Federal Government and one for Industry (select the Agenda tab for session details).

In the morning, SEWP training will be provided for both Federal Government and Industry. Federal Government attendees will get the basics of IT acquisitions with SEWP and then dive into the SEWP tools. Industry attendees will discover the SEWP contract from the Industry perspective, such as information on SEWP Contract Holder and Provider relationships and how to get products onto the SEWP Contract.

A lunch presentation will be led by Betsy Sirk, NASA SEWP Information Technology (IT) Program Manager to provide an Overview of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act on what Section 508 means, its scope and what ‘s important for Industry and Government to understand.

In the afternoon, Federal Government and Industry tracks will combine, for presentations and discussions on various topics such as:

Acquiring Emerging Technologies
Authorized Re-sellers

SEWP will be introducing our new Industry Relations Team! The mission of SEWP’s Industry Relations is to educate, assist, and provide guidance to Information Technology companies on the NASA SEWP Government-Wide Acquisition Contract, (GWAC).
