In response, piXserve can now detect and recognize both masked and unmasked faces. Users can submit an image where the individual is wearing a mask, and the software will seek matches to that individual with or without a mask. piXserve can also do this process in reverse, given an original picture of someone without a mask and find a photo of the same person wearing one.
