National Crime Victims' Service Awards Ceremony
Each Spring, the Office for Victims of Crime (OVC) guides communities throughout the country in their annual observance of the National Crime Victims' Rights Week (NCVRW), April 7-13, 2019. This nationwide, week-long initiative promotes victims' rights and honors crime victims and those individuals and organizations that advocate on their behalf.
On Friday, April 12, 2019 the National Crime Victims' Service Awards Ceremony will be held in our nation's capital, in conjunction with NCVRW. This deeply moving special event recognizes those individuals, programs, teams, and organizations that demonstrate outstanding service in supporting victims and victim services. The award recipients are selected from public nominations in 11 categories for their vision, action, and leadership in improving the lives of victims in the aftermath of crime.
