Government Cloud Brokerage: Who, What, Where, When, Why?

The Administration’s establishment of the Cloud First policy opens the door for agencies to take full advantage of cloud computing in order to maximize capacity utilization, improve IT flexibility and responsiveness, and minimize cost.

As agencies seek to combine different cloud services or legacy systems, they need a seamless form of integration. The result is the exploration of Cloud Computing Brokerage, a means to integrate software-as-a-service economically with the agility and flexibility the agency needs.

We'll Explore:

  • Cloud computing and the Administration’s Cloud First policy,
  • Cloud brokerage and its use in managing hybrid enterprise information technology environments,
  • The impact on government’s use of cloud computing brokers on Federal Information Security Act of 2002 (FISMA) and National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) security standards,
  • Strategies behind agency cloud broker usage in the integration of different shared services, and
  • Acquisition pilots and methods available to Federal, state and local agencies wanting to procure cloud broker services.

*Training Certificates will be e-mailed to attendees after the event.
