Why should you attend the Summit?
Over the past ten years, continuous IED combat operations have enhanced available technology and training to adapt to the new evolution of threats. Response tactics have also improved to achieve mission success. However, in the persistent conflicts to come for generations IEDs will be the weapon of choice, both domestically and in future contingency operations.

DSI’s EOD/IED & Countermine Symposium was created to bridge the gaps and assess policies, plans, programs priorities between industry and the EOD/IED/Countermine military community.

While advancements have been made and successful IED incidents have been dramatically reduced, major challenges still face the EOD/IED community. Challenges such as maintaining the most updated capabilities and force structure in a new fiscal environment of budget constraints. Capturing best practices and lessons learned and integrating those into the individual services institutional processes; transitioning from a continual deployment cycle to a home based training cycle; as well as recruiting & maintaining quality volunteer personal will be focal points of discussion and debate at this year’s event.

DSI’s team specializes in the extensive research and development of our Summits'  content and focus areas, and we will assemble the most respected minds in the EOD/IED community both military and civil offices, along with key leaders in industry with the sole objective of advancing the mission critical needs of each respective community. Our non partisan approach allows us to reach across all services and organizations to bring together a truly holistic group of decision makers and solution providers.
