How to Grow Your Small Business with a Mentor Protege Relationship

Our featured speaker this month is Alisa Sheard who is a Business Opportunity Specialist with the SBA.  She has been with the agency for over three years and has a background in business development, marketing and entrepreneurship.  She is currently working within the SBA’s Washington Metropolitan Area District Office servicing a portfolio of over 90 firms in SBA’s 8(a) Business Development Program.  She ensures 8(a) program compliance along with guiding firms to develop and grow their small business.  

During this presentation Alisa will share the latest regulations and updates from the SBA on the Mentor Protégé program in addition to providing advice for how Small Businesses can take advantage of the program in order to grow.
