Experience unrestrained innovation for the mission ahead

Headlines speak to the technology transformation taking place on the battlefield and data center. Powering this revolutionary advance is the human workforce executing the mission day in and day out on the computer devices they operate. These devices are indispensable to the mission. As the threats grow in complexity and emerging technologies become mission requirements, the capabilities and security features these devices provide DoD must similarly rise to the challenge. The amount of change to the technological capabilities is matched by change to the mission venues where work takes place, modes of technology-based communication - and even how humans and machines are starting to collaborate on mission scenarios.

In short: Technology transformation is taking place on the battlefied, and the mission requirements are as demanding as the mission environment is complex.

A new 'Unified Workspace' is needed to empower:

  • Workforce-wide adoption and utilization of artificial intelligence, machine learning, automation, advanced analytics, and virtual reality.

  • Unique operating environments, from traditional office environments, forward operating environments, battlefield technology at the tip of the spear, at sea, in the air, in space, post-emergency make-shift work locations... and at home, a co-working office, or Starbucks. This change is being driven by both the mission itself and workforce expectations from digital natives, especially the next generation workers.

  • Immediate and seamless enterprise-wide utilization of a wide array of networking environments and operating models, from cloud to on-prem, to device-based scenarios.
