Emerging Technology Forum 2020

This event qualifies for 4 CLPs

Emerging Technologies, whether mobile/5G, artificial intelligence/machine learning, blockchain, Quantum Robotics, and many others are evolving at a faster pace than ever with government and industry.  The technologies can be new or existing where the latter new capabilities are being developed and where both will change status quo and provide unrealized social and economic benefits.  These technologies provide enhanced connectivity regardless of location, quicker and more accurate retrieval of information, integration of supply chains, higher efficiency and productivity of staff, faster download and upload speeds as well as more stable connections.  Technology is advancing rapidly and no one wants to run the risk of being left behind.

This forum is being worked in collaboration with the Federal Mobility Group that includes General Services Administration, Department of Defense, and Department of Homeland Security,   Two educational half day virtual sessions will be provided.  The first day will lend discussion to "Mobile Technologies Modernizing Today's Government" and the second day will provide a more comprehensive overview of Emerging Technologies, entitled "Leveraging and Shaping Technologies for Better Outcomes".
