Zero Trust & SecOps Automation: The Future of DoD Security Operations
This event qualifies for 1 CPEs
Department of Defense (DoD) agencies are taking concrete steps to transition to a zero-trust architecture to protect critical data and systems. Transitioning to a zero-trust architecture requires a fundamental reimagining of security operations centers (SOCs) and teams. SOCs have traditionally been structured around the role of the security operator, rather than the data and lacked both automation and DevOps practices.
To establish a true zero-trust overlay across IT infrastructure, SOCs must move from a role-centric model, where individual members work with specific tools for tasks such as data analytics, governance, or ticketing, to a multidisciplinary SecOps approach. At the same time, they must become more data-centric, providing SecOps teams with greater visibility into security data and how it is used.
During this webinar, ThunderCat and Cloudera will:
- Discuss the shift from Role Centric SOC to Data Centric SecOps and how it plays into DoD Zero Trust Guidance
- Touch base on challenges that customers face in shifting to Data Centric Sec Ops and provide a reference architecture to address these challenges
- Demonstrate how the Cloudera solution set can support this shift while aligning with DoD Zero Trust Guidance
This webinar is part two of our two part Cloudera series! We would love you to check out part one, Data Movement Across All Environments!
