Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity Education Expo



The National Initiative For Cybersecurity Education (NICE) will host its third annual Shaping the Future of Cybersecurity Education Workshop at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) located in Gaithersburg, MD on September 17-19, 2013.  Exhibitors are welcome to participate in the expo on days 2 and 3 - September 18-19, 2013. 

The NICE Initiative is focused on enhancing the overall cybersecurity posture of the United States by accelerating the availability of educational and training resources designed to improve the cyber behavior, skills, and knowledge of every segment of the population.

The 2013 Workshop will focus on “Navigating the National Cybersecurity Education Interstate Highway”. The Workshop will showcase cybersecurity programs and public outreach activities from the State level in Industry, Education, and Governments. There will be keynote speakers, panel discussions, poster sessions, and an interactive State(s) view on cybersecurity education, best practices, and competitions.

The following government agencies will be participating with a display in the expo area:  NIST, DHS, NSF, Department of Education, OPM, STATE, and NSA.
