GovEvents & Aol Announce Partnership

GovEvents.com to power events section of AOL's government-focused sites.
(PRWEB) March 05, 2012

GovEvents.com, the web portal for all government-related events, announced today that the company will power the events sections on AOL Government, AOL Energy, and AOL Defense. GovEvents' feeds, driven by keywords specific to each sites' audience, will provide site users with a customized view of events applicable to their industry.
"We are excited to partner with AOL to make it even easier for the government audience to find events for professional development and networking," commented Kerry Rea president, GovEvents. "We're looking forward to expanding the reach of GovEvents.com to a new audience of government and industry users looking for a more effective way to research the events that are right for their personal and professional growth as well as their organization's sales and marketing goals."

As AOL provides editorial coverage around select events, those news articles will be available on GovEvents.com, providing viewers with even more context for the content of events.

"GovEvents provides a much needed service to the government community, aggregating the numerous events taking place everyday," said Wyatt Kash, editor AOL Government. "We wanted to provide a similar service to our readers within AOL and a partnership was a great way to do this. With GovEvents, we have been able to customize the event feeds to meet the needs and interests of our audience, making it easy for them to get news, event info, online discussions, and multimedia resources all in one place."

Feeds are available on the various sites immediately.
