2nd Annual BBQ Lunch to benefit Wounded Warrior Project and the VA Wounded Warrior Program

Newport News, VA - BOSH Global Services (BOSH) will host its second annual "BBQ Lunch to benefit Wounded Warrior Project and the Virginia Wounded Warrior Program" on September 14, from 11:00 to 2:00 on the lawn at 1 Compass Way in Newport News, Virginia.  The fundraiser, which is open to the public, will benefit two non-profit organizations dedicated to honoring, empowering and assisting wounded service members.

"Last year's barbecue was a great success and we're planning this year's to be even better," said BOSH employee Josie Pearson, who is leading the fundraising effort.  "We raised $7,400 last year and with our company match, we donated $14,800 to help wounded service members.  This year, we've set our barbecue goal at an aggressive $10,000 so that we can achieve an overall donation of $20,000."  The menu will include pork barbecue on a bun, coleslaw, baked beans, a dessert and a beverage.  Like last year, the event will take place on the lawn outside BOSH's corporate headquarters and will feature pork barbecue that has been slow-cooked overnight, live music, and even an online donations booth.  Tickets, on sale through September 11, are available at the BOSH office, through the BOSH website at www.boshgs.com, or through any BOSH employee.  Donations are welcome and sponsorships are available.  Visit www.boshgs.com or call 757-271-3428 for details.
